Bin Picking: the solution for the health of your containers
In the world of pharmaceuticals, very often drug containers and their accessories are transported in bags and, when they are to be used, poured into hoppers and mechanical sorters (typically vibrating cups) that bring them into position referenced to the reach of a manipulator.
All vibrating systems are a source of particles, which are particularly undesirable in sterile environments.
By means of 3D CPS FAST and a Staubli Steriline robot, Steriline has developed a capping system that avoids any moving parts by preventing particle generation typical of vibrating cup systems.
